Intellect Design Arena Ltd.

Interned as a Summer Analyst in the Corporate Payments Team of Intellect Design Arena Ltd. Successfully completed a project to create a complete Business Plan for Payments Product Launch Feasibility in the European Markets. The roles & responsibilities undertaken were:

  • Understanding Intellect's proprietary Corporate Payments product for cloud implementation (PaaS Model). Understanding the digital transformation of traditional payment systems and the risks involved with their current usage in the global payments industry.

  • Creating a complete business viability plan that includes TAM assessment, pricing strategy, Gap Analysis, and an investment proposal that takes into account the overall project costs, revenue streams, contributions & margins.

  • Planning the organizational support structure and preparing the final investment deck for the product's launch in European markets.

Infocom - Intern

Oil & Natural Gas Corporation of India ( ONGC )

Interned at ONGC - Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, in the Information & Communications (InfoCom) Department for a duration of two months. The training provided a detailed overview of the Satellite Communication Systems, Cyber Security Systems, Networking Structures used in the organization. A comprehensive tour of the organization's Data Center helped me familiarize with the numerous on-going projects, their systems and its functions.

As a part of an assigned project, I designed as well as configured a basic Organizational Network , using the Packet Tracer Network Simulator. All the errors and bugs were debugged under the guidance of my mentor.

Worked under the supervision of project mentor & developed the project entitled “Classify Suspected Infection in Patients". The project was aimed at deriving valuable business insights through analysing various datasets. The tasks performed to successfully execute the project were:

  • Loading and combining various datasets for analysis.

  • Cleaning and transforming raw dataset to prepare it for data analysis.

  • Selecting various data-subsets to analyze, visualise and derive valuable business insights through various data analysis techniques.

  • Reporting the business insights in form of a final project report, indicating what data points can be relied upon to accurately classify Suspected Infection in Patients in turn aiding the business growth.

Interests

I enjoy connecting the dots - be it ideas from different disciplines, people from different teams, or applications from different industries. I have a keen interest in the spheres of Data-Science and Analytics, Web Development & Artificial Intelligence along with Machine Learning. I’m an efficient team-worker, who can contribute positively to the end goal of the project. My passion lies in solving problems with a pragmatic approach, utilizing the available resources efficiently applying my skills and knowledge. This helps me in communicating complex ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Apart from my academic interests, I enjoy most of my time being outdoors. I am an avid cyclist and novice lawn tennis player. I enjoy swimming, badminton, and table-tennis as well. When forced indoors, I follow a number of comedy, thriller and sci-fi genre movies and television shows. I am aspiring to be a cyclist, and I spend a large amount of my free time exploring the latest technological trends in the world.

Covid-19 Dashboard

Tableau Data Visualisation Project

Global Coronavirus Dashboard, displaying multiple data points such as total deaths, total cases, mortality rate and growth since last month. These data-points are updated regularly through a live database based on google sheets. Data is visualised in the dashboard in the form of Bar Graphs representing - Cases per Country & Deaths per country (Top 10), Line Graph representing - Daily Global Case Count & a World map displaying Cases by Country on the map.

Exploratory Data Analysis on Indian Cuisine Dataset

Data Analysis using Python

The aim of the project was to derive and report valuable insights from a Indian Cuisine Dataset (Consisting of 10+ features) using Exploratory Data Analysis, implemented using Python. EDA was performed to analyze the given dataset, leveraging pyhton visualization tools, summary tables, and hypothesis testing to uncover underlying patterns and structures in the dataset. The data cleaning and transformation steps included identifying outliers, missing data and other data-related issues. These issues were corrected before analyzing the data.

Python Libraries Used: Pandas, NumPy, MatPlotLib & SeaBorn.

Static Website

Web Development Project

Developed a functional static website, I designed and implemented a navigation bar with navigation links to diffrent website areas ,page sections and various other features of the website using HTML5, CSS, BooStrap & JavaScript. The website is fully responsive and is optmized for viewing on mobile, tablet & desktop viewing. I identified all the bugs and errors in the website and was succesfully able to overcome them during the debugging process.

Optical Pulse Detector (PCB Based)

Electronic Hardware Project

Successfully built a working model for a heartbeat pulse detector with usage of Flashlight from a mobile phone. Based on the principle of changing intensity of light being detected by a photodiode, the project required the user to keep their index finger in between the LED and the photodiode, the flow of blood in the finger varied according to the heartbeat and thus, the flow of blood varied the intensity of light passing through the finger detected by the photodiode. The project was implemented using Arduino
